UK weather forecast: A changeable, wet and windy few days across the West Country, but not as cold as it has been

We've still got low pressure in charge which is bringing these bouts of rain across the southwest. One saving grace is that temperatures will be nearer normal, and not as cold at night either.

As for this evening, rain will move away to leave scattered showers, some heavy along the south coast. It'll be breezy but temperatures will still drop to around 4 or 5 degrees.

A chilly start then but with some early sunshine before more rain moves up from the south. This will start to clear during the afternoon but it's like to stay wet across Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. Temperatures should make it to 11 or 12 Celsius, but it'll feel cool trapped under that rain.

As for the weekend, well it looks pretty cloudy and wet, but by Monday we should have a more showery theme allowing a little sunshine through. Temperatures could be in the low teens by then too!
