The Liberal Democrats took St Ives in 1997 after the Conservatives had held it for a long time.
However, in 2015 the Conservatives narrowly took back this marginal seat and held it in 2017 when it became even more marginal.
The Lib Dems missed out on St Ives by 312 votes last time round.
