General Election 2019: West Country Battlegrounds North Devon

We have looked at five constituencies in the East of the region and five constituencies in the West of the region that will have the closest battles between the political parties.

Where are the West Country battlegrounds?

  • Bath

  • Camborne and Redruth

  • Cheltenham

  • North Devon

  • Plymouth Sutton and Devonport

  • South Swindon

  • St Ives

  • Stroud

  • Totnes

  • Wells

The Conservative party won the North Devon seat with a 46% vote in the 2017 election compared to a 43% win in the 2015 election when they took it from the Liberal Democrats.

They followed fairly close behind in the last election in 2017 and did well in the recent local council elections, so have high hopes this time round.
