The Conservatives retained Cheltenham with a narrow win over the Liberal Democrats in the last election.
Cheltenham is the only seat in the West Country that the Conservatives held in 2017 but voted remain in the referendum the year before. This is why the Liberal Democrats are more confident here this time round.
Under a remain alliance, the Green Party will not stand to try to boost the Lib Dems chance of winning.
