Workers have to correct spelling error at Penzance bus station - after forgetting the letter 'R' in pedestrians

Red-faced workers have had to repaint a road after misspelling the word pedestrians at the entrance to Penzance bus station.

They mistakenly left the letter 'R' out of the word, leaving the word PEDESTIANS in giant letters across the road.

After the error was spotted, the road painters were forced to hastily correct their mistake.

It now reads 'Buses Only No Pedestrians'.
