Bristol woman proposes to her boyfriend on stage in front of thousands of people

A former journalist who proposed to her boyfriend in front of 2,000 people at a Bristol gig says it was a 'truly special night'.

Carly Squires, 31, took partner Ross Graham onto the stage during the 'Elvana' concert at the O2 Academy on Saturday.

Unknown to Ross, the band were in on the surprise and Carly got down on one knee to pop the question.

Ross said yes - and the pair have an engagement story they will never forget.
