Coldplay reveal new songs in Exeter frontman Chris Martin's hometown newspaper
The world-famous music group, Coldplay, have revealed the tracklist for their much anticipated new album in a local Devon newspaper.
An ad listing the songs on the upcoming two-part album, titled 'Everyday Life', was placed in the Express and Echo - the newspaper in frontman Chris Martin's hometown of Exeter.
The ads also popped up in newspapers in Wales, France, Australia and New Zealand.
The stunt is part of a string of unusual marketing techniques for the band's first album since 2015's 'A Head Full of Dreams'.
A typewritten letter was sent to fans of the band marking the first announcement of the record's release.
Since being formed in 1996, Coldplay have become one of the biggest bands in the world, selling more than 100 million albums.
Everyday Life, the band's eighth studio album, is set to be released on November 22.
