The joint-leader of the Green Party’s Cornwall branch has been arrested at an Extinction Rebellion protest in London.

Karen La Borde, who contested the South West seat on behalf of the Greens in the recent European election, was detained earlier today (October 16).

She was pictured smiling as uniformed officers led her away from the demonstration, which was organised by Extinction Rebellion.
