Boardmasters 2020: Dates confirmed for next year's festival

The organisers of Boardmasters have announced that next year's festival will be held on the 5th-9th August in Newquay.

It will be their 40th anniversary festival.

They also tweeted that all 2019 ticket holders will have exclusive early bird access to ticket sales on Thursday October 17 at 8am.

The remaining tickets will go on sale on October 24 at 8am.

I follows their decision to cancel this year's festival due to extreme weather conditions.

They announced the evening before the festival was due to open that the event was cancelled, although the surfing competition still went ahead.

Thousands were left stranded in Newquay after travelling across the country for the five-day music festival.

Headliners Florence + The Machine and Foals were due to play.
