Sailors from RNAS Culdrose have wished a fellow colleague good luck in a special online video as he prepares to play in this year's Rugby World Cup.

Sam Matavesi, from Camborne, works in the stores warehouse at the air station in Helston and will play for Fiji in the 2019 World Cup.

The video, led by Sam's supervisor Petty Officer Dean Jones, includes members of the air station's rugby team.

Sam is well known in Cornwall as a player with the Cornish Pirates. He has also represented the Royal Navy on three occasions against the army.

Now the hooker will play for Fiji in the tournament.
