A Bath artist is opening an upscale delicatessen with a twist - each of the 30,000 items for sale is made of felt.

Lucy Sparrow's Delicatessen is set to open in New York and will be fully stocked with products found inside the finest delis.

Visitors will only be able to feast their eyes on the foody delights, though, because the delicious-looking goods are made of felt.

Each item has tiny eyes and a smile to encourage visitors to consider consumerism and their relationship with the food they buy.

Artist Lucy has spent months crafting the pieces and is now taking them to America ahead of the deli opening at the Rockerfeller Centre in October.
