Four 'TAP for Bristol' points have popped up outside various businesses throughout central Bristol.

Each 'tap' of your contactless bank card would donate £3 towards local homeless charities.

The scheme is the first of its kind in the UK.

All money will go towards providing emergency support to the homeless population as well as preventing homelessness.

Three of the current locations for the 'TAP for Bristol' points:

  • 25/27 College Green (the former FOPP store opposite the Green)

  • Waitrose on Queens Road

  • Café/bar at Bambalan at Colston Tower
