The Big Issue rolls out contactless card readers to vendors across the West Country
The Big Issue sellers in the West Country are being given the technology to start taking contactless card payments from magazine buyers.
The system was trialled in several places, including Bath and Bristol, and the success led to the decision to rollout nationwide.

One seller in Barnstaple who has been part of the trial said the system has made a visible difference to his daily takings and has boosted his customer numbers.
