UK Weather Forecast: Heavy showers fade away into high sunshine with plenty of wind

We'll hold onto some heavy showers on Saturday morning, but they'll gradually fade away in the afternoon giving plenty of sunshine. However, winds will be very strong throughout the day, with warnings in force into the evening.

50 mph gusts are likely quite widely, with 60 mph around the coasts giving very rough sea and large waves. Temperatures will reach 21 Celsius but it won't feel especially warm unless you can shelter from the wind.

Sunday looks a little calmer with lighter winds, but there will be a few showers around.
