Somerset spinner Jack Leach is set for a return to the England team after being named in the squad for next week's second Test at Lord's.

Leach, who top-scored with the bat in last month's game with Ireland, replaces Worcestershire all-rounder Moeen Ali for the crunch fixture which begins on Wednesday.

Taunton-born Leach, whose previous highest first-class score was 66, became the fifth ever nightwatchman to make a score in the 90s in Test cricket in the one-off match with Ireland.

The left-hander was eventually dismissed just eight short of his century by Middlesex seamer Tim Murtagh.
