Search for teenager who 'disappeared' underwater in Bristol Harbour

Emergency services are continuing to search the waters of Bristol Harbour following the disappearance of a teenager last night (8 August).

Multiple crews attended the Floating Harbour near Prince Street at 11:15pm on Thursday night after reports a person had entered the water.

Police officers say the teenager reportedly got "into difficulties" in the water.

A multi-agency search operation, including a Coast Guard helicopter, got underway before being called off at 2am.

Further searches by the police underwater search team are expected to continue later today.
