Police find huge cannabis factory in former Gloucester nightclub

Officers have uncovered 300 cannabis plants in a disused nightclub in Gloucester.

The Serious and Organised Crime Operations Team tweeted photos of the factory found in the former KCs nightclub in Quay Street.

The now disused KCs (officially known as King of Clubs) was a staple for Gloucester revellers in the eighties and nineties.

Even officers involved in the find reminisced about their KCs-visiting days tweeting they had "shared some KCs memories" and that "sticky carpets were the least of their worries".
