The RSPCA has named a canary found in a Plymouth Park after the new Prime Minister because of his bouffant of blond hair!

The yellow canary was found flying loose in a park near Farm Lane on Saturday (3 August).

The little bird - with his tufty blond hair - reminded staff at the RSPCA’s Little Valley Animal Centre, in Exeter, of new Prime Minister Boris Johnson so they’ve nicknamed him Boris.

The RSPCA is now hoping to trace his owner so he can be returned home.
