Cheltenham house 'seriously damaged' after car crashes into it
A man has been charged with driving offences after a car was left embedded in a house in Cheltenham.
Samuel Collier, who is 30 and from Cheltenham, is accused of drink driving and failing to stop after the accident on Gloucester Road.
The house suffered “serious damage” as a result of the crash, while a number of neighbouring gardens were also trashed.
A spokesperson for Gloucestershire Constabulary said the car will be removed once the scene has been checked by a structural engineer.
Samuel Collier has been granted police bail and is due to appear at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court on Thursday 14 August.
