UK weather forecast: Temperatures rising with a few showers in the West
It will be a dry start, with some low cloud and mist around the coasts and hills of Devon and Cornwall. This will break up allowing some sunshine through. Scattered showers will then move in from the south around midday, followed by a few outbreaks of rain reaching the Isles of Scilly and Cornwall in the afternoon.
Temperatures here will be in the low twenties, but further East we will draw up some very warm air, allowing highs of 32 to 33 Celsius across parts of Gloucestershire and Wiltshire.
Cooler air will follow from Friday into the weekend, making things feel much more comfortable both by day and by night.
