Oil spill causes long delays on M5 in Somerset

There's an eight mile stretch of the M5 in Somerset closed after a substantial oil and diesel spill.

An overturned vehicle spilled fuel on the northbound carriageway between Junction 26 for Wellington and Junction 24 for Huntworth.

Highways England are reporting delays of at least 40 minutes.Contractors are on site and working to reopen the road as soon as possible.

A diversion is in place taking drivers via the A38.
