Coasteerers brought to safety in 'complicated rescue' from North Cornwall blowhole
A group of coasteerers have been winched to safety in a "complicated rescue" from a blowhole at Trevone Bay in Cornwall.
One person broke an ankle and was brought to safety along with six other coasteerers who were also inside the blowhole.
A multi-agency response attended the scene following a call to the coastguard at 1:40pm on Wednesday afternoon.
Newquay and Padstow Coastguard Rescue Teams worked with the South Western Ambulance Service and an air ambulance to bring the group to safety.
Seven individuals in total were winched to safety by a specialist rope rescue team.
