14-year-old boy charged with murder after fatal stabbing in Bristol

A 14-year-old boy from Bristol has been charged with murdering a man in Bristol on Friday 21 June.

Police officers found a man with a stab wound in the St Paul's area of the city at around 5:50pm and he died a short time after.

The air ambulance and paramedics attended but the man was pronounced dead just before 6.30pm.

A man in his 20s was arrested and has since been released without charge.

A 14-year-old boy was also arrested in the early hours of Saturday morning and charged with murder on Sunday 23 June.

He will appear at Bristol Magistrates Court this morning (Monday 24 June).

Ashley Road remains closed while police continue their investigation.
