Five arrested during Wiltshire's solstice celebrations

A 15-year-old girl was among those arrested during this morning's Summer Solstice celebrations at Stonehenge.

Three other men were arrested at the English Heritage site, while a fourth man was arrested at another solstice gathering in Avebury.

  • 25-year-old man from Warminster arrested on suspicion of drink driving

  • 15-year-old girl from Bulford arrested on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly

  • 44-year-old man from Salisbury arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure

  • 19-year-old male from the Isle of Wight arrested on suspicion of criminal damage.

  • 45-year-old man from Great Somerford arrested on suspicion of common assault in Avebury

More than 10,000 people gathered at the neolithic stone for the ancient tradition of watching the sun rise over the circle.
