Yacht owner missing after boat washes up in Bristol Channel

The search for missing yacht owner, David Moore, has gone into its second day.

The alert was raised yesterday morning after his boat was found washed up on the beach at Berrow, in the Bristol Channel.

The 43-year-old's boat was last seen as it set sail from Watchet on Saturday (June 1).

A witness reported seeing the boat, name Egoist, abandoned at 6.30am yesterday morning.

Avon and Somerset Police is working with HM Coastguard to try and find the yachtsman.
