Sex offender detained after walking out of South Gloucestershire prison

A sex offender who went on the run from HMP Leyhill near Bristol has been detained by police.

Neon Collins absconded from HMP Leyhill some time before 8am on Sunday, May 12.

But the 39-year-old, previously known as Wayne Parkes, was caught by police later the same day.

Avon and Somerset Police, on Twitter, thanked "everyone who helped us by sharing our appeal to find him."
