The 'little ray of sunshine' from Gloucestershire who can't find a home
Ben, the Staffordshire bull terrier who remains smiling despite all odds, has been waiting for a home for almost a year.
Staff at The Cotswolds Dogs and Cats Home in Cambridge, Gloucestershire, are eager to see their five-year-old friend settled soon.
Rehoming team leader, James Tubb, describes Ben as a "little ray of sunshine that brings joy to those that he greets."
He added: "We can’t understand why he continues to be overlooked and hope to plead with people to give him a chance. We don’t give up on our dogs and believe there is someone out there for him."
Despite his predicament, Ben still has "the biggest grin on his face" and is praised for being an "intelligent boy who is eager to please and very quick to learn."
