20-year-old from Penzance has pioneering heart transplant
A young woman from Penzance has undergone a pioneering heart transplant aged just 20.
Eliza Bell suffered heart failure due to a rare condition called Danon's disease.
But she has now become one of just 70 people to benefit from a new technique at a specialist hospital in Cambridge, where surgeons are now able to use hearts from people AFTER they have stopped beating.
