Woman found dead on Cornwall beach named as police try to establish final moments

Police have named the woman whose body was found on a beach in Cornwall earlier this week - and appealed for information over her final moments.

Anastaszja Plusa was found dead on Perranporth beach on Monday (April 15) morning.

The 22-year-old, who was originally from Poland but grew up in Holland, moved to the UK years ago and previously lived in the Perranporth area.

Officers investigating her death would like to hear from anyone who may have seen her in and around the town from 7.45pm onwards on April 14.

She was last seen wearing a dark-coloured coat, blue jeans and beige Converse trainers at the Texaco garage on Budnic Hill.

Police were called just before 7am on April 15 following the discovery of Anastaszja’s body on the shoreline of Perranporth beach.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.
