Three arrested after cannabis factory raided in Paulton, Somerset

Three people have been arrested after a cannabis factory was found at a property in Paulton yesterday (11 April).

Police also found knives, a stab proof vest, an imitation gun, smoke grenades, and ammunition at two addresses; one on the High Street and another in Purnell Way.

A 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of cultivation of a class B drug, possessing a firearm without a certificate and possession of a weapon for the discharge of a noxious liquid/gas.

An 18-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of cultivation of a class B drug and a 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of production of a class B drug.

All three have been released under investigation.
