Four people have been arrested under the modern slavery act after 30 people were found in the back of a van on the M5 near Cullompton.

Police were initially called to Newlyn just after 7am this morning after a group of people were seen getting off a boat and into a van.

The van was stopped at around on the M5 with 30 people inside, believed to be Vietnamese.

Police say the van and another vehicle were stopped by officers on the M5 near J28 for Cullompton.
