MBE medal stolen from pensioner's home in Salisbury
Wiltshire police are appealing for witnesses after two sentimental medals and jewellery were stolen from properties in Salisbury.
The burglaries happened on Harnham Road at 10:30am on Monday 25 February.
The houses targeted are just a few doors from each other.
During the burglaries an MBE medal was stolen. It was awarded by the Queen in 1983 at Buckingham Palace.
A cross of St Augustine was also stolen which had the words ‘From the Archbishop of Canterbury in Appreciation’ inscribed on it.
Officers are asking anyone with information to call 101 and quote crime reference number 54190019069.
