Four people injured after fire breaks out at Cornwall pub
Four people have been injured following a fire in a pub in Cornwall. One person was taken to hospital and three others were treated by paramedics at the scene for the effects of smoke inhalation.
The fire ripped through the Fisherman's Arms in Newlyn in the early hours. Crews from seven fire engines tackled the blaze in Newlyn which broke out after midnight on Monday morning.
Firefighters used eight breathing apparatus, two hose reels and a hose reel jet on the fire that started in a first floor bedroom and spread to the downstairs and property next door.
Devon and Cornwall Police are advising motorists to avoid Fore Street which has been cordoned off.
