A burst water main has left dozens of homes in Plymouth without running water - and caused a road to partially collapse.

A section of Melville Road in Keyham gave way after the burst around 4.15pm.

Flooding was reported just minutes later, as water gathered nearby, and the road was subsequently closed.

The disruption is believed to have affected residents in nearby Alexandra Road, Cambridge Road and St Levan Road.

Drivers are being warned to avoid the area while urgent repairs are carried out.
