Christmas Day will be extra special for one young mother from Trowbridge, who'll be sharing it with the baby she never thought she'd have.

Kelsey James, had a heart transplant when she was just 14 weeks old, and despite a difficult pregnancy and a traumatic birth, she's now back home with daughter Nevaeh.

The 21-year-old was told by doctors giving birth would put too much stress on her heart.

Despite the risks from a weakened immune system Kelsey was able to carry Nevaeh.

She was born six weeks early but Kelsey couldn't even hold her daughter at first because of a risk of infection.

After 4 weeks of special care in Bath, finally both were allowed to go home and enjoy their first Christmas together with the whole family.
