Bristol bomb maker sentenced to five years for homemade stash

Glynn faces 5 years in Jail.

A Bristol man who collected an arsenal of home-made bombs and hundreds of knives has been sentenced to five years in prison.

Police were called to the home of Matthew Glynn, in Horfield, last July where they discovered explosives under his bed and evacuated nearby homes.

Glynn admitted five counts of making an explosive substance at Bristol Crown Court.

But during sentencing, the Judge said there was no evidence Glynn was going to use the weapons.
