Vigil to mark Cornish teenager's 16th birthday
The 'heart-broken' family of Shakira Pellow are holding a vigil tonight on what would have been her 16th birthday.
The Camborne teenager suffered a heart attack on July 7 after taking a pill thought to contain MDMA.
Friends and family are meeting in Pengegon Park at 6pm (5 November) to reveal a plaque in Shakira's memory.
Shakira's mum Rita says the drug's effect on Shakira's body was devastating.
Two 17-year-old boys were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs and released under investigation.
Rita now plans to visit schools sharing Shakira's story.
