A man has been charged with dangerous driving after a crash which saw a 32-year-old woman lose her unborn baby.

29-year-old Stuart Wells from Dorset will appear in Yeovil Magistrates' Court on 6 November following the accident in March which involved four cars on the B3151 near Somerton.

The 32-year-old mother and her three-year-old daughter suffered life-changing injuries, and the woman sadly lost her unborn baby.

Wells, who lives in Terrace View in Sherborne, has been charged with three offences, one causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
