Man rescued after clinging for life off south Devon cliff
A man has been rescued after clinging onto the edge of a cliff by his fingertips in south Devon.
Coastguard Rescue Teams came to his aid, after receiving a call from someone who heard him shouting.
The man who works for a local holiday park, stumbled and fell from the top of the cliff at Challaborough on Saturday, 20 October, only managing to grab the edge from around three metres from the top.
Rescuers, who used a rope to save him, say the fall would have otherwise been fatal.
