Somerset Council leader changes mind on funding after ITV report

The leader of Somerset County Council told ITV News after watching our report on young carers he wanted to do more to continue funding the service.

Proposals to cut funding for the Young Carers Project have been deferred until the new year.

David Fothergill says they were able to continue funding for now but it's up to national government to find a long-term solution to make public services sustainable.
