Formula 2 Stock Car World Championship final comes to Mendips Racetrack

Stock car drivers will be hurtling around the Mendips Raceway in Somerset this weekend as the Formula 2 Stock Car World Championship final is contested on the track.

The cars travel at up to 70 miles per hour and sit just inches from the ground, swerving around corners and trying to beat the competition.

Drivers are even encouraged to bump into each other.

The championship is one of the biggest events on the stock car racing calendar.
