Cornish Pirates' newest rugby star swaps the farm for the beach
The new rugby season kicks off this weekend and the Cornish Pirates are hoping to continue an unbeaten run stretching all the way back to February.
They kick off their campaign at home to Doncaster on Sunday, with some new arrivals looking to make their mark, including a former sheep farmer from Ireland, who is now loving life in Cornwall and eager for the first game to get underway.
25-year-old centre Callum Patterson signed from Ulster back in June, and says it was a difficult decision to make the move.
