More than £51,000 worth of bicycles have been stolen from a Cornwall cycle shop.

The incident took place at Clive Mitchell Cycles in Summercourt, Newquay, in the early hours of Saturday 18 August. A total of 15 bikes were stolen.

The police arrived at the scene moments after the burglars fled in a large white van.

Police are investigating and appealing for witnesses who may have seen anything suspicious around the store at the time of the offence.

They would also like to hear from anyone who has been offered any of the bikes for sale.
