Man left with potentially life-changing injuries after aircraft crash in West Dorset

A man has sustained potentially life-changing injuries are a light aircraft crash in West Dorset.

Dorset Police was alerted to reports of a crash at a solar farm near the B3165 at Blackpool Corner earlier this afternoon.

The male pilot has sustained potentially life-changing injuries and was taken to Southmead Hospital by air ambulance.

A male passenger with mild injuries has gone to Dorset County Hospital as a precaution.
