Man arrested after fatal crash near Marlborough
A passenger has died after a single car crashed near Marlborough last night (18th August).
Police in the Thames Valley have arrested a 31 year old man, with no fixed address, on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
The collision happened around 9pm when a silver Ford Galaxy left the road and rolled several times before hitting the nearside verge.
When Wiltshire Police officers arrived to the B4192 near Toll Cottage near Ramsbury they found the 41-year-old passenger had died at the scene.
The road was closed for about nine hours while investigators tried to work out the cause of the crash.
The arrested man has been taken to hospital as a precaution and will be questioned by police in due course.
Wiltshire Police say they still want to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time of the crash to call them on 101 quoting log 360.
