'Stop ruining people's lives' says the Cheltenham woman conned out of £135,000
A pensioner from Cheltenham has told ITV News she feels totally "violated" after her computer was hacked and £135,000 was stolen from her bank accounts.
A con-man called the 74-year-old claiming he worked for BT but then, using remote access, managed to drain her life savings.
The woman wants to keep her identity a secret as she worried she might fall victim to scammers again.
Police say internet crimes like this is one is becoming more common.
