People in Somerset village forced to leave their homes overnight after a home oil tank fire
People living in a village near Yeovil had to leave their homes last night after a heating oil tank caught fire.
Eight fire engines were called to put out the flames in the back garden of a property at Little Sammons in Chilthorne Domer after 11pm.
Two terraced homes were badly damaged in the fire
A refuge has been set up at the village hall.
Firefighters are still working to dampen down the scene and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
