Smoke from Salisbury Plain fire spreads across Somerset
Clouds of smoke have been seen across the West Country this morning after military exercises on Salisbury Plain.
The smoke has been reported up to 40 miles away in Somerset - and many residents have been told to keep their doors and window's closed for up to four days.
In Trowbridge, Fire Services investigated the smoke early this morning.
The clouds covered other parts of the county including North Bradley.
The smoke caused Wiltshire Police to temporarily close part of the A360.
Although the road has now reopened, officers are repeating Fire Service advice to keep windows and doors closed.
