Last of seal pups from winter rescue released back to wild
Two seal pups who were rescued by the Cornish Seal Sanctuary on the day of the Royal Wedding have been released back to sea.
Harry has been cared for by the animal care workers since the 19th of May.
They are the last of the 82 seal pups rescued in winter.
Harry was found with nylon netting round his neck and body. His case was used to highlight the effect plastics in our sea is having on marine life.
Last winter, rough weather also had an impact on the number of seal strandings.
It was the busiest rescue season in the Gweek centre's 60 year history.
