UK's most southerly post office in desperate search of buyer
The postmaster of Britain's most southerly Post Office says he wants to retire, but he can't yet because he can't find a buyer.
Len Trott, 73, has run the Lizard Post Office in Cornwall for 30 years.
Len and his wife Lynda say they've been offered an 'acceptable' compensation package if they leave, but only if they find another buyer.
He is now desperate to find someone to take on the business, or else they will be penniless.
Len is only the 4th sub-postmaster of the branch since it opened in 1898, and it provides the population of a 1,000 with all their postal needs, including providing cash.
The couple have been trying to find a buyer for more than four years now.
The Post office has said it is committed to finding a way around the problem, so that Len can finally close up for good.
